INTRODUCTION
This vacuum head when combined with a five gallon bucket is intended for household or
commercial use. It may be used for vacuuming wet or dry media. Read this operator s
manual to familiarize yourself with the product features and to understand the specific
usage of your new appliance.
OPERATION GENERAL
1.
Be certain to plug the vacuum into an outlet of the proper voltage as
indicated on the machine nameplate.
2.
No lubrication of the motors is required as they are equipped with pre-
lubricated sealed bearings.
3.
For top performance, clean or replace the filter regularly. Clogged lters
restrict air ow and reduce suction.
4.
Install on a clean standard five gallon bucket in good condition including the
handle. Buckets that let light through their walls may not be strong enough
to hold vacuum they can collapse. Test an empty bucket with the vacuum
by blocking the intake to make sure the bucket does not collapse.
SpeedClean offers optional buckets that will not collapse. Minimum bucket
inside dimension is 11 and maximum outside dimension is 12 .
CAUTION: Ensure that the bucket has not been used for carrying flammable materials.
5.
Pivot handle up and snap into the handle holds on each side of the lid. See
FIGURE 1 below and on sides of vacuum head for handle hold locations.
Some handles may have to be pushed to one side then the other. (Note:
Positioning the vacuum head on the bucket with the vacuum tool rest on the
opposite side from where the handle will be raised into the locking position
will make this step easier.)
