Teleconverter (Fig. 1)
` Lens mount button
Operation
!
Mount the teleconverter on the camera.
" Mount the shooting lens.
• The iris setting (f-number) is shown as a
composite value.
• For optimum lens performance, an iris setting
with a composite value of f4.0 or more is
recommended.
• When the teleconverter is used, the composite
focal distance and iris value of the lens are
multiplied by 1.4.
• To detach the teleconverter, hold the lens mount
button and turn the lens in the opposite direction

to the mounting direction.

• The EC-14 is a teleconverter lens used to extend
the focal distance of Olympus FOUR THIRDS
single-lens-refl ex digital camera by 140%.
