as intended (as described in the operating
instructions). Do not alter, modify or paint
the device, as this will result in loss of

Range of functions
The RF door gong feauters 52 diff erent
melodies/gong sounds (Fig. B2). The volume
can be set to one of four diff erent levels
(Fig. B1). Ringing is also indicated visually by
the background LED on the indoor unit.
The ringer switch provides a visual signal
(background light) to show the user that the
bell signal has been successfully relayed. The
device has a free-fi eld range of approx. 250 m
and this is aff ected by walls and ceilings.
Both the transmitter and the receiver can be
used immediately. The CGF 7055 RF door
gong features a high-frequency transmitter
with advanced coding technology. It is unlikely
that there will be any mutual interference
between the device and any similar devices in
the surrounding area.
Where to install the device
1.
You can plug the indoor unit (gong Fig. B) into
any suitable electric socket in the home.
A ring tone will sound when the device is
plugged in for the fi rst time to indicate that it
is ready for use.

Open the back of the ringer switch (Fig. C)
by carefully pushing a suitable tool into the
groove on the bottom of the device.

Then, remove the cover from the back part
(Fig. D) and insert a 12 V 23A battery. Reattach
the cover. The ringer switch is now ready for
use.

Remove the enclosed double-sided adhesive
tape from the packaging. Peel back the
protective fi lm, but only on one side at fi rst.
Stick the exposed surface onto the back of the
ringer switch (Fig. E). Choose a suitable place
to mount the ringer switch.
The surface must be smooth, even, clean and
dry.
Ensure that the position you choose does not
sit outside the radio transmission range.
You MUST check this before installing the
device!
The outdoor unit (ringer switch) must be
protected from the elements, particularly from
the rain.
Remove the protective fi lm on the back of
the device and fi x the switch in the chosen
position.
Battery and rechargeable battery
information
Do not dispose of used batteries
with unsorted household waste. You
are required by law to return all used
batteries. These can be returned free-
of-charge to the place of sale. Batteries
contain substances that are harmful to the
environment and to human health and must
therefore be disposed of properly.
Recycling instructions
Do not dispose of this device with
unsorted household waste. Owners
of old devices are required by law to
dispose of this device properly. Contact
your town council for further information.

You can raise claims under the guarantee at any point from the date of purchase, provided
that you do so before the statutory warranty period expires. Claims can only be raised after
