• To mount the dust bag 8 connect it to the outlet
sleeve 3 as shown in fig. 3.1 and 4.1.
• Disassembly operations do in reverse sequence�

• To mount the hose 10 connect it to the outlet sleeve 3
or inlet sleeve 4 as shown in fig. 2.1 or 4.1.
• To mount the crevice nozzle 9 connect it to the
hose 10 as shown in fig. 2.1.

Initial operating of the power tool
Always use the correct supply voltage: the power sup-
ply voltage must match the information quoted on the
power tool identification plate.
Switching the power tool on / off
Short-term switching on / off
To switch on, press and hold on / off switch 6, to switch
off - release it�
Long-term switching on / off
Switching on:
Push on / off switch 6 and lock it in the position with
lock-on button 7�
Switching off:
Push and release on / off switch 6�
Design features of the power tool
Speed selector thumbwheel
[CT17010V, CT17010V-A]
Using speed selector thumbwheel 5, you may select
the required air flow speed (if power tool use as air
blower) or suction force (if power tool use as vacuum
cleaner)�
• Push on / off switch 6 and lock it in the position with
lock-on button 7�
• Set the needed air flow speed (if power tool use
as air blower) or suction force (if power tool use as
vacuum cleaner)�
The required speed is dependent on type of operation
and can be determined with practical trials�
When operating your power tool at a low speed for a
long time, it has to be cooled down for 3 minutes� To
do it, set a maximum speed and leave your power tool
to run idle�
Possibility of steady-state use (see fig. 5)
The power tool design allows steady-state operation
(see fig. 5).
Recommendations on the power tool
operation
Using for blowing operation (see fig. 1-2)
• To use the power tool as air blower, attach nozzle 2
or hose 10 (for model CT17010V-A only) as shown in
picture 1�1 or 2�1�
• Connect power tool to the main�
• Switch on the power tool�
• Set the air flow speed with the speed selector
thumbwheel 5 (for models CT17010V, CT17010V-A
only)�
• Perform the blowing operation�
Using for dust collecting operation (see fig. 3-4)
Do not use the power tool as a vacuum
cleaner without a dust bag 8.
• To use the power tool as a vacuum cleaner, attach
nozzle 2 or hose 10 (for model CT17010V-A only) and
the dust bag 8 as shown in picture 3�1 or 4�1�
• Connect power tool to the main�
• Switch on the power tool�
• Set the suction force with the speed selector
thumbwheel 5 (for models CT17010V, CT17010V-A
only)�
• Perform the suction operation�
Attention! Do not use the power tool
as a vacuum cleaner for collecting
solid objects (such as nails, steel
cutting waste, stones, glass fragments,
etc).
Steady-state using (see fig. 5)
• Perform
assembly
above�
• Connect power tool to the main�
• Push on / off switch 6 and lock it in this position with
lock-on button 7�
• Install the power tool on the even horizontal
surface�
• Perform the operation (see fig. 5).
Power tool maintenance / preventive
measures
Before carrying out any works on the power tool it
must be disconnected from the mains�
Cleaning of the power tool
An indispensable condition for a safe long-term exploi-
tation of the power tool is to keep it clean� Regularly
flush the power tool with compressed air thought the
ventilation slots 1�
