Possible cause
A CD is not inserted, or is
inserted incorrectly.
The CD is dirty or scratched.
FM—The antenna is not
extended.
AM—Your boombox is not
positioned correctly.
The volume control is turned
down.
The AC power adapter is
unplugged.
No batteries, dead batteries, or
batteries not installed correctly.
The iPod is not connected
correctly.
Your boombox is not in iPod
mode.

Solution
Insert the CD with the label facing
up.
Wipe the CD with a cloth to clean it,
or use another CD.
Extend the FM antenna.
Rotate your boombox until the best
reception is obtained.
Increase the volume.
