OPERATING DESCRIPTION
When connecting the device to the power supply, the pyroelectric sensor is affected by a tran-
sient stabilization lasting 1 min approx (along with the Pt2 preset time) to get its normal opera-
ting performance.
During this time, the output relay is kept excited (if the room light is lower than the preset one).
The sensor is enabled to switch lights on (relay excitation) when detecting any movement at a
temperature different from the one of the scanned area only if the room light is lower than the
one set by the special potentiometer.
During detection, the L1 LED switches on for 1 second regardless from the twilight threshold set
value. Once the load has been turned on, it remains in such a condition for the preset time. This
timing is automatically restored at each movement following the original one without interrupting
the load on restoring.
The above mentioned timing can be enabled by one or several NO monostable (even luminous)
push buttons connected between terminals 1 and 2 (Fig. 3).
If, instead of a push button, a circuit breaker is connected, the relay remains excited by the time
in which the circuit breaker is closed and the time set by the potentiometer (fig. 4).
Do not install the device next to heat (convectors) and light sources. We recommend not to install
the device near components subject to heat (light dimmers, relays, etc..).
