malfunctioning system, use of non-original
spare parts, exceeding the permitted
working pressure specified (max. + 10%),
working without protective equipment,
transporting / maintaining / repairing or
leaving a pressurised machine unattended,
using other / unsuitable lubricants, smok-
ing, naked flames, removing stickers.
• Prohibited: Using explosive or flammable
cleaning agents; disposing of leftover ma-
terials / cleaning agents incorrectly.
2.4 Commissioning
Before start-up:
1. Carry out a visual inspection.
2. Do not use below 5° C.
For use with cartridges or silicone
puppets, see Instruction manual
Part 1.
Compressed air connection:
1. Connect a filter pressure reducer up-
stream of the filter.
2. Press the quick-action coupling of the air
hose onto the plug nipple (item 01)
(Figure 1a).
Operation:
1. Close the air regulation (item 03) by
turning it towards the right (Figure 4).
2. Press the trigger lever (item 02) and ad-
just the air regulation (item 03) for the
discharge speed of the silicone.
3. Release the trigger lever (item 02). Sili-
cone is depressurised automatically.
4. If present: rotating housing (item 04)
can be rotated manually during work and
adapted to the direction change of the
silicone string.
After use:
1. Disconnect the quick-action coupling
from
the
plug
(Figure 1b).
nipple
(item 01)
2. Clean the housing (item 04) immediate-
ly.
3. If present : clean the rubber piston
(item 07), telescope piston (item 08),
check the safety chain for secure fit.
2.5 Maintenance
Only for devices with a trigger lever (item
02).
Prevent stiffness, leaks: lubricate the valve
pin and pivot point on the trigger lever
(item 02) when the device is depressurised.
Apply a light coat of oil to the valve pin.
If present, lubricate the outside of the tele-
scope piston (item 08) while it is pulled out
(see Figure 7).
2.6 Decommissioning
Storage: Clean, dry, free from dust, above
5° C.
Disposal: Dispose of packaging / machine
according to valid statutory regulations.
2.7 Warranty
Basic principle: complete unit in original
condition / proof of purchase.
Material and production defects are covered
by statutory provisions.
Excluded warranty claims: Wear or ex-
pendable parts, improper use, overloading /
incorrect pressure, manipulation / inappro-
priate use, inadequate / incorrect / lack of
maintenance or lubrication, bumps / im-
pacts, dust / dirt accumulation, unauthorised
/ incorrect working procedures, incorrect
power supply, impure / insufficiently filtered
compressed air, failure to read the instruc-
