Prerequisites for the appliance's
stability
Caution
Create stability for the appliance prior to all
work on or with the appliance to prevent ac-
cidents or damage.
The stability of the appliance is warrant-
–
ed when it is placed onto an even sur-
face.

Preparing the Appliance
Please follow the safety instructions before

For a 1

connection must be sawed off first.

Place the flat seal into the hose connec-
tion piece.
If you would like to prevent the water
that is standing in the hose or above the
pump after the pump has been turned
off, we recommend that you use the in-
cluded backflow valve. Before inserting
the backflow valve, the flat seal must be
removed. Pay attention to correct posi-
tioning.
Screw the hose connection on to the
pump
Push the hose on the hose connection
and fasten it with appropriate hose clip
Note:
The larger the hose diameter and the short-
er the hose, the higher the feed rate.

Unfold the folding legs if you are work-
ing without pre-filter (only SCP 12000 ).
You can buy the pre-filter as an acces-
sory.

Set the IQ Level Sensor to the desired
switching height.
The IQ Level Sensor can be removed
from the guide rail toward the top and
placed separately if necessary.

Place the pump on a level, stabile sur-
face in the liquid to be transported, en-
sure that it is standing firmly or immerse
it using a rope tied to the handle.
The suction area should not be blocked

fully or partially through the impurities.

When installing the pump, you must
make sure that the pump can be sub-
merged up to the max. submersion
depth (h1) of 9 m, but only has a max.
flow height (h2) of 7 m (SCP 1200) or 8
m (SDP 14000).
The flow height indicates the height dif-
ference between the water level and
water exit at the end of the flow hose.
You have to adhere to the flow height
for the pump to flow. This must be ob-
served throughout the entire pump run,
as the flow height will increase with a
decreasing water level (due to the
pumping).
