Preparation
Carefully unpack unit from its packaging. Properly inspect for defects before installing. Wear clean work gloves to prevent dirt and oil
from being transferred to the luminaire.
LDS series luminaires come in two versions; continuous units (LDSC series) and independent units (LDSI series). For mounting continuous
units, a Starter Kit (SKU211994 - white or SKU211995 - black) is required for each row. A continuous electrical run will consist of a number
of continuous units up to a maximum current of 16A on a 20A breaker. Additional continuous electrical runs may be appended
mechanically to the same row with no limit. When installing luminaires use clean gloves in order to avoid fouling the diffuser.
Installation for Independent Fixtures

Attach mounting bracket to
ceiling support structure using a
GE suspension kit according to
the suspension kit instructions.

Clip fixture to mounting bracket.
Ensure that groove on fixture
engages with mounting bracket on
both sides and secure bolt. Fixture
shall be suspended at both ends.
Circuit 1:
(Red, Black, White, Green/Yellow)

Access wires via knockout plate hole.
Note: Wires can be accessed from
both knockout plates.
Attach to
structural

For direct mount to finished ceiling,
attach mounting bracket to ceiling
support structure directly using the
bolt provided in the suspension kit.
(Note: There will be a 1.4 inch gap
between the fixture and ceiling).

Remove one plate and install UL
listed strain relief (not supplied).
Dimming line:
(Violet, Grey)

Connect wires based on wiring
diagram above. For "EL" option,
connect unswitched supply line to
red wire per Emergency Light

Remove knockout plate either
from the beginning or from
the middle of the fixture.
