FRONT VENT

• This appliance is front breathing. Do not block the front air vent
as this will result in high operating temperatures, higher energy
usage and possible system overheating and failure.
CONTROL SYSTEM INSTRUCTION
• The default temperature setting is 43°F. The default
temperature scale is °F
• Each depression of the button
(A) will adjust the temperature
in 1° increments.
• The temperature can be set
as low as 36°F or as high
as 50°F. The LED display
will flash when setting the
temperature. When stopping
setting the temperature, the
LED display will flash for
another 5 seconds and then
display the actual internal cabinet temperature.
• Actual temperature inside the appliance can vary based on
ambient temperature, how often the door is opened and how
many warm items have recently been added to the appliance.
• Door Ajar Alarm: If the door is not closed completely for 5
minutes, an alarm will sound. Close the door to silence the
alarm.
• If the door is closed and the alarm continues to sound, check
that the actuator at the bottom of the door is making contact
with the switch on the appliance.
NOTE
• If the unit is unplugged, power is lost, or turned off, you must
wait 3 to 5 minutes before restarting the unit. If you attempt to
restart before this time delay, the Refrigerator will not start.
• When you use the Refrigerator for the first time or restart the
Refrigerator after having been shut off for a long time, there
could be a few degrees variance between the temperature you
select and the temperature indicated on the LED readout. This
is normal and it is due to the length of the activation time. Once
the Refrigerator is running for a few hours everything will be
back to normal.
DEFROSTING
Your Refrigerator is designed with "Auto-cycle" defrost
system. During the "Off-cycle," the refrigerated surfaces of
the Refrigerator defrost automatically. Defrost water from the
Refrigerator storage compartment drains automatically and part
of it goes into a drainage container, which is located at the back
of the Refrigerator above the compressor. The heat is transferred
from the compressor and evaporates any condensation that
has collected in the pan. Part of the remaining water is collected
within the Refrigerator for humidity purposes.
!
• Do not overfill the Refrigerator as this may prevent air
circulation.
• Do not open the door unless necessary;
• Do not cover shelves with aluminum foil or any other shelf
material which may prevent air circulation;
• Clean the Refrigerator before storing for long periods of
time. Leave the Refrigerator door ajar to allow air to circulate
inside, and to avoid possible formation of condensation,
mold or odors.
OPERATING NOISE
88
• To reach the desired temperature settings, the Refrigerator
operates with compressors and fans, and may produce the
following types of noises. These noises are normal and may
occur as follows:
Gurgling sound - caused by the refrigerant flowing through
the appliance's coils.
Cracking/popping sounds - resulting from the contraction
and expansion of the refrigerant gas to cool the appliance.
Fan operating sound - to circulate the air within the
Refrigerator.

SHELF INSTRUCTIONS

Do not cover shelves with aluminum foil or any other material
as this will impede air flow inside the cabinet and can adversely
affect the interior cabinet temperature.
To remove a shelf, tilt one side up and pull the shelf outward.
To replace a shelf, ensure the shelf is resting securely on the
support brackets and push inward until it locks into place.
