User's Guide
battery installation:
The lantern is operated with 6 D cell batteries (not included). Batteries must be installed or replaced in sets of six.
NOTE: If replacing the batteries, remove the old batteries and follow the instructions below.
1. Turn the lantern over and remove
the battery cover by twisting the cap
counter clockwise.
2. To run the lantern from 6 D cells, fill
all six positions noting proper battery
polarity.

1. To open the handle, depress the raised
button near the bottom of the handle. See
illustration 1.
2. Fully open the handle.
3. Close handle around object you wish the
lantern to hang from. See illustration 2.
4. Open the raised button. Be sure the handle is
securely latched before allowing lantern to

fully hang on its own. See illustration 3.
• Do not attempt to hang lantern with
handle in open position.
• Always be sure to hang the lantern in a
safe and secure area.
• Lantern should never be left out in
excessive wind.
usb charging:
Rating: 1A@5V
USB charging port may not charge all devices. Some
devices require a proprietary USB power supply.
3. Replace the battery cover by fitting the
center plastic column within the base
and then twisting the cover clockwise
until it clicks firmly into place.
