In the home screen,
press the down
volume key to
switch to lower call
sounds volume,
then switch to Vibrate Only, then Alarm Only, and,
finally, All Sounds Off. Press the up volume key to
cycle back from silent to vibrate and then to
the lowest call volume setting.

store a phone number

You can store a phone number in Contacts:
1 Enter a phone number in the home
screen.
2 Press Save.
Select New Contact, if necessary.
