detection sensor does not detect the paper and the shredder
does not start. The same applies if you do not insert the CD/DVD
at the center of the CD/DVD/credit card feed slot
credit card or CD/DVD is drawn in automatically after activating
the respective detection sensor.
Collecting bins
Empty the respective collecting bins
card, or CD/DVD residues being drawn into the cutter from underneath (see
Fig. B and C).
1. Switch off the paper shredder and disconnect the power plug before emp-
tying the respective collecting bins.

3. Empty the collecting bins separately.

Do not touch the cutting unit with your fingers.
Paper, CD/DVD or credit card jam
If you feed in paper at an angle or attempt to insert too much paper, the cutter
may block or work slowly, thus causing a paper jam.
1. Switch off the unit by setting the slide switch
2. Set the slide switch to the REV (reverse) position. The same applies if a CD/
DVD or a credit card gets stuck.
3. The paper, credit card, or CD/DVD is discharged through the respective feed
slot.
4. The paper jam is cleared or the CD/DVD/credit card feed slot
5. Allow the unit to cool down to room temperature before you restart. If
necessary, insert paper in slightly less quantities.
