SETUP AND CONFIGURATION PROBLEMS
1. wHAT KIND OF CAmErAS CAN CONNECT TO THE NVr?
All D-Link network cameras can connect to the NVR. Please check the D-Link website for
detailed support information and version.
2. I HAVE LOST my INSTALLATION CD, wHAT CAN I DO?
Visit http://www.mydlink.com/support to download software drivers and the user manual.
3. wHAT HArD DrIVES ArE COmPATIBLE wITH THE NVr?
Most SATA hard drives are compatible with the NVR. Please visit your local D-Link support site
listed on the Technical Support page for an updated list of compatible hard drives.
4. HOw DO I rESET my NVr?
Locate the reset button on the bottom of the NVR. Press and hold the button (using an implement
such as a straightened paperclip) until the power LED on the front panel starts flashing. Allow a
minute for the device to reset.
Note: Resetting the NVR to the factory defaults will erase the current configuration settings. To
reconfigure your settings, log into the NVR web interface or alternatively, reinstall the device
using the Setup Wizard software supplied on the CD-ROM.
5. THE DEVICE HAS A USB POrT. CAN I PLUG AN EXTErNAL HArD DrIVE INTO
THIS POrT?
The NVR supports external additional drives via the USB port for the purpose of backing up and
copying video captured from cameras. Direct capture of video to USB is not supported.
