INSTALLATION
In order to use the touch panel the module has to be attached to an structure which is stable enough to
prevent the panel from swinging when the user hits the touch screen in normal operation. There are basically
two main methods of mounting the touch panel: pedestal or kiosk mounting.
4.1. Pedestal mounting
All touch panels can be mounted onto a standard pedestal. In order to do so they have fixing holes on
the rear cover for VESA 75mm and 100mm. The pedestal must be attached to de panel by means of four M4
screws.
4.2. Kiosk Mounting
In order to attach the touch panel to an structure like a kiosk, the panel comes with two brackets and
their fixing screws. These two brackets have to be mounted on the opposite sides of the touch panel resulting
in two different assembling options:
−
Option A: The brackets are fixed to the largest sides.
−
Option B: The brackets are fixed to the shortest sides.
The brackets can also be attached in such a way that they facilitate the fixing of the panel either onto
the front side wall structure of the kiosk or onto an internal frame located at the back of the module.
