Important safety instructions
When using electrical appliance basic safety precautions
should always be followed including the following:
ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD
1. Make sure that your outlet voltage corresponds to the voltage
stated on the rating label of the toaster.
2. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plug, or
any part of the toaster in water or other liquid.
3. Food of unsuitable size, metal foil packages or utensils must not
be inserted in the toaster as they may cause fire or electric shock.
HEALTH HAZARD
1. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the
appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
2. Be sure to take the bread out carefully after toasting to avoid
injuries.
3. Close supervision is necessary when it is used by or near children.
This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years and older and
by people with physical, sensory or mental impairments or by
inexperienced people if they are properly supervised or have been
informed how to use the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children
unless they are older than 8 and under supervision.
HOT SURFACE HAZARD
1. The surfaces may get hot during the use. Use handles or knobs
only.
