INSTALLATION
Emergency Battery Pack Servicing
The emergency battery pack is located outside of the
housing, but can be accessed via top access or from
below the ceiling, through the aperture. To access the
emergency battery pack below the ceiling, remove the
LED adjustment mechanism and set it aside inside the
housing. Please refer to the housing instruction sheets
for details.
N Note: The Illuminated Test Switch is wired for 277V.
To change to 120V, follow the instructions to

CAUTION
For your safety read and understand instructions completely
before Servicing.
access the ITS. Then, replace the connection of
the orange wire from the ITS to the capped black
wire. Refer to the wiring diagrams at the end of the
instruction sheet for complete wiring instructions.
Top Access
1. Open the junction box cover and remove it from the
junction box.
2. Make sure the inverter connector (red and white wires)
is disconnected, then disconnect the remaining wire
nuts connecting the ITS to the emergency battery pack.
3. Disconnect the wirenuts connecting the emergency
battery pack and the housing.
