1. GENERAL FEATURES
Type ECR1 is a reception control unit (Rolling -Code receiver /decoder ) for the installation of a command and control system for automatic gates, perime-
ter lighting etc.
The Rolling-code control unit decodes and accepts an encrypted code transmitted by one or more Rolling-Code radio controls type ETR5.

3. MECHANICAL INSTALLATION
Remove the screws from the lower section of the receiver and remove the cover.
The base of the receiver can be fixed directly to the wall or in a standard 3-module backbox.
In the case of external use, cables must be routed using cable clamp types PG7 in the relative seats.
4. . ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION – CONNECTIONS
Internal use
Use of the receiver in closed environments is possible by using the internal aerial; in this case check that the jumper ANT is inserted;
External use
In the case of external use, aerial type ZL43 can be used, tuned to 433 MHz with the 3 metres of RG58 coax cable, supplied. In this case, the jumper
ANTmust be removed;
Type of power supply
The receiver can be used with four different types of power supply (12V ac, 12V dc, 24V ac and 24V dc) :
-
in the case of power at 12V dc check thatthe jumper on the 12dc side is inserted (set as standard in laboratory);
-
in the case of power at 24V ac/dc or 12V ac check that the jumper on the 24/12acside is inserted;
The terminal board connecting the receiver to the system is divided into three functional sections according to the terminal board layout shown below:
-
section 1:
relay terminal group (A, B, C and D);
-
section 2:
aerial terminal group ( aerial line and relative earth terminal);
-
section 3:
power supply and serial communication terminal group:
1) power line to 12 V (ac/dc) terminals: 12 and terminal-/~ ;
2) power line to 24V (ac/dc) terminals: 24 and terminal-/~ ;
3) serial communication line on terminal COM with reference to earth of aerial terminal;

5. OPERATION
The RollingCode receiver is equipped with two pushbuttons and five LEDs for programming and normal function activation:
"RST" : Receiver RESET button with cancellation of any commands in progress;
"LRN" : Pushbutton to activate self-learning procedure (LEARNING) of new transmitters to be memorised or to select the procedure for deletion of all trans-
mitters memorised in the receiver;
Led A :
displays activation of relay contact A
Led B :
displays activation of relay contact B
Led C :
displays activation of relay contact C
Led D :
displays activation of relay contact D
Led LRN :
displays operations performed by means of pushbuttonLRN,
reset performed by means of pushbuttonRST and the parameter
programming mode using programmer type950B;
