3. Intended use

The appliance is only for use as living space heating
in dry, closed rooms.
The appliance may only be used for the tasks it is
designed to handle. Any other use is deemed to be a
case of misuse. The user/operator - not the
manufacturer - will be liable for any damage or
injuries caused as a result thereof.
Please note that our appliance has not been
designed for use in commercial, trade or industrial
applications. Our warranty will be voided if the
appliance is used in commercial, trade or industrial
businesses or for equivalent purposes.

5. Before starting the appliance

The appliance is able to be used free standing. Keep
a minimum distance of 1m between the housing and
walls, combustible materials (furniture, curtains, etc.)
The equipment may be used only when completely
mounted and standing upright on a stable surface. It
is prohibited to operate the equipment on an instable
surface (e.g. on a bed).
Caution: Before using the appliance for the first time,
check that the voltage supply is the same as the
voltage details set out on the rating plate.
Read the safety regulations in section 1.
When the appliance is used for the first time or after a
long period of rest it may emit an odour for a short
time. This is not a fault.
6. Operation (Fig. 1 – 3)
Note: All functions can be activated with the push
buttons on the appliance as well as with the remote
control. For the remote control, use 2 size AAA
batteries. Make sure that the poles are not reversed
when you change the batteries. Used batteries must
be disposed of properly.
6.1 Switch on the mains power
Switch the power switch (12) to "0" and insert the plug
into the socket. Switching the power switch (12) to "I"
results in the background lighting of the LCD display
being illuminated (1).
6.2 Switching the appliance ON and OFF
Pressing the pushbutton "ON/OFF" (4) makes the
ventilator run and the ventilator symbol is lit up on the
LCD display (1). To switch off, press the push button
(4) again.
