Attention
Any valve maintenance and/or installation operation must be carried out in the
absence of hydraulic pressure. For this reason, disconnect the water delivery
line to the valve.

MANUAL DE INSTRUCCIONES
USER'S GUIDE
Corrective action
1 - Turn off the water inlet.
2 - Turn off the water outlet.
3 - Disconnect the connection tube between the pilot and the drain connection.
4 - Remove the 3 screws securing the manifold. Remove both o-rings and replace
them with two soft rubber discs of the same outer diameter, each measuring
2mm in thickness.
5 - Refit manifold by tightening the three screws and taking care not to
force them.
6 - Reopen the water inlet and outlet. Once the procedure is complete, if the outlet
leak has disappeared, the fault was due to the pilot. Replace the pilot.
Replace pilot group reference 2250/05.
If it is observed that the leak is coming only from the drain, it can easily
be determined which chamber/piston is leaking.
7 - If the water leaking from the outlet is hard, the assembled inlet piston needs
to be replaced, reference 1918/05.
8 - If the water leaking from the outlet is soft, the assembled outlet piston needs
REVISION NOTES
to be replaced, reference 1918-C/05.
9 - Remove the valve from the tank, replace the seal (O-ring on top of tank) between
BOZZA
the valve adapter and the riser tube.
EMISSIONE
10 - Remove the inlet piston, check for obvious surface damage. If the piston is
damaged, replace it.
Ensure that the bypass valve is fully closed.
11 - Close the inlet to the valve, check that the pressure gauge shows
a pressure of at least 2 bars. If it is lower, the pressure is insufficient.
12 - If the pressure is higher than 2 bar, check whether the mechanical filter which is
installed before the valve is blocked. Remove and clean.
13 - Remove manifold, remove filter and clean thoroughly.
14 - Remove injector, thoroughly clean the holes in the injector and refit the assembly.
15 - Thoroughly check the connection assembly to the brine tank:
g) - Check that there are no obstructions in the connection system.
h) - Check that there is a flow when the float is in lower position.
i) - Check that there is no formation of a salt bridge in the brine tank.
j) - Check that all components of the brine valve operate efficiently without any
leaks from any fittings.
