4. Initial connection and network search

Start the TYDOM 3.0 server, wait a few
minutes for the system to start up and for
your router to assign an IP address via
DHCP.
You will find your server's IP address using
one of the various equipment search tools
on the network, such as:
• "TYDOM HD Finder" is available on
www.deltadore.fr for a PC or MAC
computer
• "FING" is available online for any
computer, tablet or smartphone.
With this tool, the TYDOM's IP address
will appear on the network with the name:
Elitegroup Computeur Systems
Open a web browser and type in the
server administration page as follows:
https://<IP_ address>:8443 where <IP_ad-
dress> is the server's IP address on the
network.
Note: If you are using "TYDOM HD
Finder" to find the server, you can open the
administration page directly by clicking on
the displayed thumbnail.
The default password is "1234". You will be
able to change the TYDOM 3.0 server's IP
address, run updates or save the configu-
ration.
Download and install the "Config Studio"
and Design Studio" onto your Windows or
iMac PC.
Check and download the available updates
to get the latest features and upgrades.
Note: do not shut down the server
while the installation is in progress.
The automatic scanning of TYDOM 3.0
servers from the "TYDOM HD Finder"
tool, the "Config Studio" and "Design
Studio", requires the installation of the
"Bonjour" service.
This installation is automatically
available as applicable.
