4.3.4 - Anomalies and remedies

Malfunctioning
The unit will not start.
The appliance doesn't cool/heat
sufficiently anymore.
The appliance works but
the report console is always
switched off.
The appliance works but the
report console keys don't work.
if the problem has not been solved, please contact the nearest technical assistance service.
Please give detailed information about the malfunction and on the equipment version.
Cause
Current failure
the unit is disconnected from the
current.
Power switch is switched to "0"
the fuse is interrupted or the ther-
mal-magnetic circuit breaker has
tripped.
the remote control batteries may be
discharged.
the time set with the timer may not
be correct.
incorrect temperature setting.
The air filter is dirty.
the doors or windows are open.
the air inlet or outlet vents of the
indoor or outdoor units are blocked.
the compressor 3 minute protection
has activated.
the display has been set to off.
the keypad lock is active.
What must be done?
Wait for the current to be restored.
Check that the plug is inserted in the
wall socket.
Press the power switch when it is
positioned on "I" (figure 37).
replace the fuse or restore the ther-
mal-magnetic circuit breaker.
replace the batteries.
Wait or annul the timer setting.
Set the temperature correctly. Consul
the "Using the remote control" chapter
for the procedure.
Clean the air filter.
Close the doors or windows.
first, remove the obstructions and
then re-start the unit.
Wait.
reactivate the display from the re-
mote control.
Disable the keypad lock from the
report console.
