PNEUMATICAL TESTER
DIRECTION FOR USE
PNEUMATICAL TESTER DIELECTRIC GLOVES
Before each use of insulating gloves for electrical
works, the EN-60903 standard recommends a
quality checking of the gloves by a visual inspection.
Overmore for the low voltage gloves, the standard
advises to inflate gloves to detect any possible air
leaks: the pneumatical tester is the equipment
whitch permit a better inflation, and then a better
checking.
IMPORTANT
The pneumatical tester can be only used for the
low tension gloves, that is to say:
Classe 00
Classe 0
USE
1. Take over the elastic rings from the tapering
upper part.
2. Place the gloves to this part and replace the
elastic rings in order to block the glove during the
inflation.
3. Push the pump system (the orange part) to
inflate the glove.
4. When the glove is inflated, proceed to the visual
inspection. For a better checking:
Either spring the glove in the water to detect air
leaks.
Note: Before the use, dry the glove with care
as describe in the direction for use for the
insulating gloves.
Or, expose the gloves to strong light, and look at
by transparency to detect any possible defect of
the surface.
THIS CHECKING MUST BE DONE BEFORE EACH
USE.
IN CASE OF DOUBT, DO NOT USE THE GLOVE
CONCERNED AND SEND BACK THE PAIR IN HER
ORIGINAL PACKING FOR ELECTRICAL RETESTING.
