DESCRIPTION
Maxduty Compact series multifunctional tool is specially designed to use common cap screw for rivet nut
function in addition to its rivet and rivet stud functionalities. The OMNI-MANDREL system allows for un-
paralleled versatility and eliminates the need to buy proprietary rivet nut mandrels. Measuring at only xxx cm
lengthwise, it is powerful compact tool that is capable of fastening rivet up to ¼", rivet nut up to 3/8" & M10
and rivet stud up to 5/16" & M8. Rivet stud functionality requires specialized mandrels.

Watch out for potential hazards such as electrical wires.

Do not over reach so as to cause loss of balance or loss of secure footing.
INSTALLATION/OPERATION
Fastening Rivet:

Select nosepiece for the size of blind rivets to be used.
•
Install the accessories as illustrated in Figure 1 with the handles closed. Secure the accessories with correct
rotation as indicated below each of the accessories.

Insert rivet into tool with the handles open. You may also install the rivet into the work piece first
•
Position the tool for operation.
•
Squeeze the handles. Multiple strokes may be required for longer rivets.
•
When handles are released rivet stem will be automatically released. Discard/recycle the rivet stem.
Fastening Rivet Nut and Rivet Studs:

Put the mandrel collar onto the cap screw and secure the assembly onto the tool with the mandrel casing. Make
sure the cap screw is aligned to the center of the mandrel casing opening.
2.
Tighten the push screw into the knob with the provided hex wrench and flat wrench.
3.
Secure the correct rivet nut fixing screw onto the sleeve seat and fasten the assembly onto the tool.
