MAINTENANCE
Cleaning Tool
With the motor running, blow dirt and dust out of all air vents with dry air at least once a week. Wear safety glasses when performing this
operation. Keep the tool handles clean, dry, and free of oil or grease by using a mild detergent and a damp cloth to clean your tool.
Although these parts are highly solvent resistant, NEVER use solvents.
Maintaining Tool
Keep your tool in good working condition by adopting a regular maintenance program. Examine the general condition of your tool before
each use. Inspect guards, switches, and extension cord for damage. Check for loose screws, misalignment, binding of moving parts,
improper mounting, broken parts, and any other conditions that may affect its safe operation. If abnormal noise or vibration occurs, turn
the tool off immediately and have the problem corrected before further use. Do not use a damaged tool. Tag damaged tools "DO NOT
USE" until repaired.
Repairing Tool
If your tool is damaged, return the entire tool to the nearest authorized Sioux Tools service center.
ACCESSORIES
Recommended accessories are available at extra cost from you local service center.
CAUTION: The use of any non-recommended accessories may be hazardous.
Double Insulation
Tools marked "Double Insulated" do not require grounding. They have a special double insulation system, which
satisfies OSHA requirements and complies with the applicable standards of Underwriters' Laboratories, Inc., the
