5. Install instructions
■ Check device: after purchase please check the device to be without defects. The
package is recyclable so you can reuse it or throw it.
■ Position: place the UPS in a well ventilated area ( 10 cm arround) away from direct
sunlight or excessive dust. Do not use the device in high temperatures or humidity areas.
■ Power: insert the power plug of the device in an wall 230V outlet.
■ Battery recharge: the device battery will lose some charge during storage and
transportation. It will become fully charged in about 12 hours of normal functioning of the
device. Do not expect max autonomy on first battery charges as it is new.
■ Connect desired devices: connect desired electronic device to the power outlet
■ ATTENTION: DO NOT use this device to power a laser printing device or plotter along
with a computer because together they will overload the UPS.
6. Using instructions
■ Turning ON the device: after inserting the power plug of the UPS in a 230V socket
press the ON/OFF button for 2 sec. You will hear a short confirmation sound. Display wil
light up, and show parameters. The device will perform a functioning test every time it's
turned on.
■ Turning OFF the device: press the ON/OFF button for 2 sec. You will hear a short
confirmation sound, and display will show OFF message.
■ Auto test: in normal functioning mode short press ON/OFF button to check AC
frequency. During testing the UPS will switch to battery mode so you will be able to see
the battery and overload indicators on the screen.
■ Backup power: when the UPS is on battery mode the battery and overload indicators
will be on the screen and you will hear a beep every 4 sec. The UPS will be back to
normal once the blackout is over. Short press the ON/OFF button to shut off the beep
sounds.
■ Low battery: when the UPS is on battery mode you will hear multiple short beeps
when the battery is empty then the UPS will automatically turn OFF.
