2 Description of the appliance
2.1

Intended use

The VR 32 bus coupler allows you to connect
up to 16 eBUS boilers on a single eBUS. The
address enables you to assign a separate

address to each appliance. Any use beyond
this is considered improper and is prohibited.
2.2

CE labelling

The bus modulating VR 32 bus coupler com-
plies with the relevant directives and stand-
ards when correctly installed according to the
regulations.
2.3

Application

You can use the VR 32 modulating bus coupler
to expand auroMATIC 620 and calorMATIC
630 controller systems. The VR 32 allows the
main controller to communicate with the
eBUS interface on Vaillant boilers. On boilers
with an eBUS interface, you can also use the
VR 32 bus coupler together with vrnetDIALOG
for remote monitoring and configuration.
The VR 32 consists of a board with a connec-
tion terminal and lead.
calorMATIC 630: If more than two boilers are
connected in a cascade, a bus coupler is
required for each boiler to connect it to the
eBUS (Western socket X30). You can connect
up to six VR 32s to the controller.
