Programming a radio control in Dipswitch mode
This function enables the user to program radio controls in the series SLIM-R and BUG-R in
Dipswitch mode.
Programming a SLIM-R radio control
1. Select the menu "DIPSWITCH MENU" and press "".
2. Select the page "RADIO CONTROL CODE" to modify the radio control code, and the dip
switches are displayed as a sequence of 1 and 0, 1=dip set to ON 0=dip set to OFF. E.g.:
1010101010.
3. Select the page "SLIMR PROGRAM".
4. Set up the radio control for programming: Press and hold the two radio control keys at the
same time for at least 3 seconds. A series of 3 brief flashes indicates that the programming
mode has been enabled. Position the radio control above the area indicated by the drawing
on the instrument.
5. Press the key "" on the programmer.
6. Wait for the programming procedure. On completion, the operation is confirmed (positive
or negative). If the operation fails (the display shows the message "Progr. ERROR") repeat
programming from point 5. If the operation is successful, the message "Programming. OK"
is displayed.
Notes:

If not programmed within 30 seconds the radio control exits the programming mode, emitting
short flashes repeated three times.
Programming a BUG-R radio control
1. Connect a programming cable on the connector located on the right side of the
programmer.
2. Select the menu "DIPSWITCH MENU" and press "".
3. Select the page "RADIO CONTROL CODE" to modify the radio control code, and the dip
switches are displayed as a sequence of 1 and 0, 1=dip set to ON 0=dip set to OFF. E.g.:
1010101010.
4. Select the page "BUG-R PROGRAM".
5. Set up the radio control for programming: Press and hold the two radio control keys at the
same time for at least 3 seconds. A series of 3 brief flashes indicates that the programming
mode has been enabled. Connect the programming cable to the radio control.
6. Press the key "" on the programmer.
7. Wait for the programming procedure. On completion, the operation is confirmed (positive
or negative). If the operation fails (the display shows the message "Progr. ERROR") repeat
programming from point 7. If the operation is successful, the message "Programming. OK"
is displayed.
Radio control reading
This function enables reading of radio controls in the series SLIM, SLIM-C, SLIM-R, BUG(R)2/4
and TXD2/4 in order to display the code and subsequently encode the SLIM-R and BUG-R radio
controls compatible with these units. On completion of reading, the radio control code is shown
on display.
The code of a SLIM-R or BUG-R radio control can only be read if this is new with the factory
setting (and therefore with the "retailer" code=00000), or if it has been encoded with the same
TAUPROG. If the radio control being read has an identification code (retailer code) different from
that of the programmer, the display shows the message "RC NOT LEGGIBLE".
Reading a rolling code radio control:
1. Select the menu "RADIOCON. READING" and press "".
2. The message "TRANSMIT NOW " is displayed (press "" to cancel and exit the procedure
at any time).
3. Transmit by means of the radio control. On completion of acquisition, the radio control code
is shown on display. The information displayed is explained below:
