2.3. MAINTENANCE
The safety of the drill, proper use and durability, in accordance with the declared performance, depends on the scrupulous
respect of the information contained in this chapter.
The failure in maintenance instructions can cause potential danger to the pile drill as safety elements and parts may be in
different conditions as provided when new.
2.4. GENERAL RULES
The information contained in this chapter are intended for maintenance crew and to all those who perform maintenance and
repair, as well as the operator.
Do not allow unauthorized personel to repair or intervene in the drill.
Do not lubricate, repair or adjust the drill with diesel engine running unless this is required for intervention.
Stopping the drill according to the procedures described above.
Prevent environmental pollution. Fluids, oil and filter elements should be eliminated, as required by law, in suitable containers
for this purpose. These substances are classified as harmful and polluting waste.
Respect the procedures and the information provided for maintenance.
Do not made use of controls and hoses as support, these mobile components do not provide stability.
Do not make any intervention on the drill with people inside the cabin, unless they are authorized and assistance from the cab
to perform the operations necessary.
Before putting up the drilling or operating the equipment, note the maneuver with the horn. Lift and move the machine slowly.
All parts must be handled carefully, avoiding putting hands or fingers into crevices and moving parts.
Do not align the holes or eyes with your fingers and always use a suitable tool centering.
Remove any sharp edges or barbs on replaced parts.
