INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE - DIRECTIONS FOR INSTALLATION
This microprocessor control unit for rolling gates performs all the gear unit and safety device control
functions during rolling gate opening and closing operations. The main settings and operating modes
can be defined using dip-switches.
3 built-in LEDs constantly display the status of controls and safety devices.

3.1 TERMINAL BOARD M4
3.1.1 Mains
Terminals "1-2" (Phase-Neutral). Power supply voltage 230 V~ - 50/60 Hz
3.2 TERMINAL BOARD M1
3.2.1 Flasher
Terminals "3-4" (Phase-Neutral). Use a flasher with operating voltage 230 V~
3.2.2 Gear unit
Terminals "5-6-7" (Close-Common-Open). Connect the gear unit.
Notes:
1) To install electric cables, us adequate rigid and/or flexible tubes.
2) Always separate the low-voltage connection cables from the 230V~ power supply cables. Cables
for the power supply to the equipment must have a 1.5 mm
separate sheathes.
3) The box features 2 break-through holes Ø35 where Pg21 cable clamps with minimum protection
degree IP54 must be mounted (not supplied).
3.3 TERMINAL BOARD M2
3.3.1 Stop
Terminals"8-9" (Circuit Normally Closed). The status of this input is displayed by LED 1. This circuit is
connected to any device (e.g. button, pressure switch, etc.) which, when a contact is opened, stops
the rolling gate motion. It can be used as a safety on the opening motion.
Note: If STOP devices are not connected, jump connect the input. To install multiple STOP devices,
connect the NC contacts in series.
