7.1.1 Cool blow mode
Press the ON/OFF button (6), the equipment will
switch on, the air outlet flap will open and will operate
in cool blow mode (no heating). The indicator for
"Fan on" will appear on the LED display. If you press
the button again the fan will switch off and the air
outlet flap will close.
7.1.2 Heating mode
1000 Watts: Press the ON/OFF button (6), then
when the air outlet flap has opened completely
press the Heat button (5) – the equipment will heat
at the low setting. The indicators for "Fan on" and
"1000 W" will appear on the LED display. If you
press the ON/OFF button again the equipment will
be switched off. If any residual heat remains, the
fan will continue to run. The equipment shuts
down and the air outlet flap closes as soon as the
residual heat has been dissipated.
2000 Watts: Press the ON/OFF button (6), then
when the air outlet flap has opened completely
press the Heat button (5) twice – the equipment
will heat at the high setting. The indicators for "Fan
on" and "2000 W" will appear on the LED display.
If you press the Heat button (5) again, the
equipment will run in cool blow mode. If you press
the ON/OFF button (6) again the equipment will be
switched off. If any residual heat remains, the fan
will continue to run. The equipment shuts down
and the air outlet flap closes as soon as the
residual heat has been dissipated.
7.1.3 Timer function (Timer)
Set the cool blow mode or heating mode as describe
above, press the "Timer" button (3) twice; the
equipment runs with the timer function and shuts
down automatically after 1 hour. The timer can be set
for a period from 1 to 8 hours by repeatedly pressing
the "Timer" button (3). The symbol for the timer
function appears on the display. The set number of
hours appears briefly. To turn off the timer function
press the "Timer" button (3) once more after
selecting the 8 hours period, or turn off the device
completely with the "ON/OFF" button (6).
Important. After turning off the equipment the fan
will continue to run until the heater has completely
cooled down.
7.1.4 The "Swing" function of the air outlet slats
Set the cool blow mode or heating mode as
described above. Press the "Swing" button (4). The
"Swing function" of the air outlet slats is activated,
enabling the slats to be swung up and down
electrically. To switch off the "Swing" function and
have the equipment blow in one specific direction,
press the "Swing" button (4) again. The symbol for

the "Swing" function appears on the display.
7.1.5 Set the nominal room temperature (only
possible using the remote control and only
sensible in heating mode)
As soon as the equipment has been set to heating
mode, a nominal temperature can be set on the
remote control using the "+" and "-" buttons. The set
nominal temperature will appear briefly on the LED
display. As soon as the temperature at the integral
temperature sensor has reached the set nominal
temperature, the heating function will cut out and it
will only cut in again when the temperature falls
approx. 3°C below the nominal temperature. Each
time you press the "+" or "-" button the nominal
temperature will be increased or reduced by 1°C.
To reach the required room temperature, set a high
nominal temperature on the equipment. When the
required room temperature has been reached,
reduce the nominal temperature until you hear an
audible click, the heating function will cut out and the
fan will only emit cold air.
8. Overheating guard
In case of excessive heating, the heating function
and then the equipment will shut down automatically.
In case of excessive heating, the heating function
shuts down automatically. If this occurs, turn off the
appliance, disconnect the mains plug and wait a few
minutes for the appliance to cool. After eliminating
the cause (e.g. a covered air grille), the appliance
can be switched on again. If the overheating guard
triggers repeatedly, please contact your customer
service center (in Germany ISC GmbH).

9. Maintenance and cleaning

Maintenance and repair work may only be carried
out by an electrical servicing contractor or your
customer service center.
Check the mains lead at regular intervals for signs
of defects or damage. A damaged mains lead may
only be replaced by an electrician or ISC GmbH in
compliance with the relevant regulations.
Important: Disconnect the mains lead before
cleaning – danger of electric shock.
Use a damp cloth to clean the casing.
The equipment is fitted with an air intake filter. We
recommend that you check and clean the air
intake filter every month.
