If no sparks are generated
with new battery and good
wire connections, module is
faulty.

on and tight?

" If possible,observegrill in
dark location.Operate
ignitionsystemand look for
arcingbetween output
wires and grill frame.
All sparks present but
weak or at slow rate.

on electrode and/or in

" Inspectelectrodesfor
cracks.
Install battery (make sure that "+" and "-"
connectors are oriented correctly, with "+" end
up and "-" end down.)
Replace battery with new AAA-size alkaline
battery.
Unscrew button cap assembly and reinstall,
making sure threads are aligned and engaged
fully.
Replace spark module assembly.
• Remove and reconnect all output
connections at module and electrodes.
Remove and reconnectall outputconnections
at moduleand electrodes.
If sparks are observed other than from
burner (s), wire insulation may be damaged.
Replace wires.
Replace battery with a new AAA-size
alkaline battery.
Use paper towel to remove moisture.
Replace cracked or broken electrodes.
