Rotary switch and power button
The rotary switch on the rear end of the Induction Heater F – 2300 is used to set time and
power. The setting must be made before you press the power button to start with the heating.
You cannot change the setting parameters during the heating process.
Once you have set time and power, place the coil around the object to be heated and press
the power button. At level 1 to 5 the device switches off automatically after the set time.
At level 6 the device continues the heating until you release the power button or until the
internal overheating protection will switch it off automatically.
Once the Induction Heater F – 2300 is sufficiently cooled again, the heating can be continued.
The device is active when the integrated LED on the front is on.
LED-lighting and van
Once you press the power button, the LED is on and illuminates the object to be heated. In
addition the fan to cool the system is also activated and stays active during the complete
heating time and even afterwards, if the temperature measured internally is still too high.
When the temperature has reached a normal level, the fan is switched off automatically. For
this reason keep the device connected to power (230 volts) until the fan stops turning. In case
of an error or defect the device switches itself off or does not switch on. When you press the
power button the LED then starts to flash (see: error messages).
To prevent damages the Induction Heater F – 2300 and the induction coil have to cool down
after operation and before being put back into place into the box. Both, the unit and the
induction coils and the induction tube can become hot during operation.
Error messages
The Induction Heater F – 2300 is equipped with several internal protective elements. In case
the power button is pressed and one of these protective elements is activated, the device
switches off and the LED starts to flash. The Induction Heater F – 2300 is equipped with a
microprocessor-controlled induction generator which automatically regulates the power in
case of overload or overheating to prevent damage to the induction generator.
Overheating protection
Once the internal temperature gets too high, the Induction Heater F – 2300 stops the heating.
Please check
1) whether the fan is still functioning;
2) whether the air vents are open;
3) whether the Induction Heater F – 2300 is connected to power to ensure cooling;
4) whether exclusively coils from authorised suppliers are used.
Attention
When the Induction Heater F – 2300 is
operated at reduced power the device
can cause a ticking noise. This is absolutely
normal, no defect.
