2. Enter p asscode andpress t heSSI b ut-
ton. If passcode is notaccepted, the
SSIbutton w iltblink red.Waituntil t he
SSI b utton r eturns toblinking blue before
attempting tore-enter passcode. Once
accepted, the SSI b utton w ill f lash green.
3. Ensure thatthe SmartSwitch Safety
System warning l ights arenotshowing
anyfaults present. Ifanywarning l ights
doindicate faults present, resolve those
faults b efore c ontinuing
with STARTING.

the fuel s ystem. Foran e xtended start, press
and hold SSI b utton f or t hree seconds before
releasing. This will p rompt theengine toat-
tempt starting foruptoten seconds (instead
ofthenormal five seconds), allowing time for
fuel t obepulled into theengine.

theengine.
Once e ngine starts, movethethrottle
control b ackto the fastposition
('_lP) towarm-up. The time required
for warm-up w iltvaryfroma few
seconds toaminute depending
upon
conditions and temperature.

AUTOMATIC
TRANSMISSION
WARM UP
•
Before driving the unit in cold weather,
the transmission
should be warmed up
as follows:
•
Ensure the tractor is on levet ground.
•
Release the parking brake and let
the brake slowly return to operating
position.
•
Altow one minute for transmission to
warm up. This can be done during
the engine warm up period.
•
The attachments
can also be used dur-
ing the engine warm-up period after the
transmission
has been warmed up.
PURGE
TRANSMiSSiON
_ICAUTION:
Never engage or disengage
freewheel lever while the engine is running.
To ensure proper operation and performance,
it is recommended that the transmission be
purged before operating tractor for the first
time. This procedure will remove any trapped
air inside the transmission which may have
developed during shipping of your tractor.
IMPORTANT:
Should
your transmission
require removal for service or replacement,
it should be purged after reinstallation before
operating the tractor.
