Loading with a Filler Pump
1. Rotate the plunger handle so it engages with the piston.
2. Insert fill plug into the filler pump socket. Make sure the socket is securely fastened to the plug.
3. Operate the filler pump and observe that the plunger handle extends outward as the tube is filled. Stop the pump when the handle is fully
extended.
4. Disconnect the grease gun from the filler pump.
5. Release the plunger rod from the piston and push down the plunger handle.
Hand Loading
1. Remove canister from grease gun.
2. Draw back the plunger handle completely and load grease into empty canister. Lock the plunger into position.
3. Re-attach the canister to grease gun
4. Release the plunger rod and push down the plunger handle.
Priming
1. Draw the plunger handle back completely and rotate it so that it engages with the piston.
2. While holding the bleed valve open, push the plunger in until grease escapes from the valve.
3. Operate the tool several times until grease flows from fitting on the end of the hose; Repeat step 2 if necessary.
4. Rotate the plunger handle to release it from the piston and push the plunger completely into the tool.
Pressure Relief Valve
The pressure relief valve is factory set to relieve pressure above 6500 psi (448 bar).
If grease is flowing from the pressure relief valve and the tool continues to run, then service is required by an authorized service center.
