• Only use the cutting stand with an angle grinder which is equipped with the suitable metal protective
cover around the cutting disc.
• Position this protective cover so that the cutting disc runs freely in the open part and so that
the protective cap is unable to make contact with the work piece.
• Cutting work generates sparks. Ensure that no flammable
materials are in the working area. Sparks can damage paint, glass and other surfaces. Do not wear
any nylon or polyester clothing, but suitable non-flammable work clothes.
• Ensure that the mains cable does not protrude into the working area of the disc or where sparks
are flying.
• Ensure that the work piece is correctly fixed in position between the two clamping jaws and is firmly
positioned on the base plate.
• Do not use work pieces which are too large to be fixed in position between the two clamping jaws.
• Clamp the work piece so that it is stress-free.
• Secure the cut-off material in order to avoid injuries resulting from flying or falling work pieces.
• Ensure that the cutting disc is not tilted and that it is always sufficiently tightened.
• Do not remove the work piece when the disc is rotating.
• Ensure that it is not used together with liquids.
• Regularly inspect the firm seating of all of the screws before and during use as they can become loose
due to vibration.
• Store the cutting stand in a dust-free and dry place.
• Regularly inspect both the stand and the cutting disc for any damage. Under no circumstances should
you use a disc if you should determine any dents, notches or other forms of damage. The stand
is also not to be used if you detect any damage.
• Ensure that the cutting disc of your angle grinder is mounted perpendicular to the base plate.
• Only use cutting discs and no roughing discs.
• Always observe the cutting depths as there is otherwise the risk of damaging your workbench.
• Always use the lever (29) of the cutting stand to bring the machine into the end position.
• Always remove the plug of your angle grinder from the socket when not in use, changing the disc and
when completing all cleaning and adjustment work.
• All liability and warranty claims will be excluded in the case of the use of non-permitted drive devices
and the making of all technical modifications to the cutting stand.
Refer to illustration (A) and the detailed photos (B - I) when assembling the stand.
You require the following for the assembly work: open-jawed spanners (SW 10, SW 13, SW 17, SW 21),
Allen key (2.5 mm and a slotted screwdriver (6 mm).
• Fix the swivel arm (2) to the base plate (1) using the M8 hexagon bolts (3), the washers (4), the tooth
lock washers (5) and the hexagon nuts (6).
• Screw both of the adjusting screws (7) into the threaded boreholes in the swivel arm.
• Now fix the rear jaw (8) to the base plate with the M10 hexagon bolt (11) und the square nut (12).
Then mount the M10 hexagon bolt (9), locking washer (10) and the square nut (12) for the angle
adjustment with the jaw and the base plate.
• Fix the front moving clamping jaw (13) with the washer (14), tappet (15), hexagon bolt (11) and
square nut (12) to the base plate; only tighten the hexagon bolt to such an extent that the clamping
jaw still has a small amount of free motion. Then screw the handle (16) into the tappet. Place the lok-
king plate (17) over the head of the hexagon bolt and mount it in the threaded borehole of the tappet
using the M8 hexagon bolt (18). By rotating the tappet at the handle, ensure that the
clamping jaw can be tightened, loosened and moved along the ground plate. The free motion of the
clamping jaw is adjusted with the hexagon bolt (11). Now adhere both of the material protectors
(19/20) to the clamping jaws.
