• The maximum distance allowed varies depending on whether the terminal used has the power supply taken from the control device or
supplied externally, or alternatively if two controllers are connected in a pLAN local network:
- maximum terminal distance with telephone cable and power supply taken from the device: 30 m;
- maximum distance for communication without shielded cable on pLAN connector: 30 m;
- maximum terminal distance with AWG24 shielded cable and power supply taken from the device: 200 m;
- maximum terminal distance with AWG20/22 shielded cable and separate power supply: 500 m;
- maximum distance between two devices with AWG20/22 shielded cable: 500 m;
• A maximum of one terminal (PCOT, I, PGD0, PGD1), or two terminals without using the backlighting on the display, is allowed;
• If using a telephone cable for the creation of a pLAN local network (Master-Slave confi guration), use the branch connector code
TCONN6J000 to avoid damaging the boards due to the presence of the power supply for connecting the terminal.
