POSSIBLE PROBLEMS, CAUSES AND SOLUTIONS
PROBLEM
No suction
The vacuum power drops
The machine is at pressure but it
releases poor steam
The extension tubes or acces-
sories slip off easily
The extension tubes are hard to
fit on the flexible hose or between
themselves
The light 3 is on and the buzzer
sounds
The light 3 flashing and the buz-
zer sounds
Water is spilled while vacuuming
liquids.
The suction stops by itself even if
the dirt collection container is not
full.
The vacuum cleaner switches off
during vacuum and the four indi-
cator lights flash.
TROUBLESHOOTING
POSSIBLE CAUSES
No power
Low suction power
The upholstery nozzle, the
flexible tube or the extension
tubes are clogged.
The EPA filter is dirty
The steam control knob on
the unit is at level 1
The accessory locknut is not
locked
The seal gaskets produce
friction
The locknut is not in the cor-
rect position
Shortage of water in the boi-
ler tank

Float device clogged
The vacuum button on the
handle has been involuntarily
pushed.
The liquid level in the dirt col-
lection container is too high
The selected power is too
high for the type of surface

POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS
Check the cable, plug and socket
Increase the suction power by pres-
sing the button on the handle
Disconnect the flexible hose from the
unit and/or the accessories and elimi-
nate any dirt
Clean or replace the EPA filter
Turn the steam control knob in order
to increase the steam pressure
Lock the locknut
Lubricate the gaskets with some oil
Turn the locknut in the correct posi-
tion
Fill the boiler tank as described in the
chapter "Filling the boiler tank"
Turn off and turn on the unit. If the
problem persists contact Technical
Support
Clean the "EcoActive Filter" water fil-
ter assembly.
Pay attention. During the use of the
vacuum do not push the vacuum but-
ton on the handle.
Push the switch (1), disconnect the
supply cable from the electrical outlet
and keep the appliance disconnected
at least 30 seconds to allow the safety
device to reset

tions, proceed as illustrated in the sec-
tion "Emptying and cleaning the dirt
collection container"
