2. SPECIFICATIONS
Voltage sensitivity: 90-1000VAC
Frequency: 50/60Hz
Operating temperature: -10 to 50ºC
Storage temperature: -10 to 50ºC
Indicators: Beep and flashing LED indicate that there is voltage.
It is used to detect voltage in shops, lighting, switches, cables and to find cable
breaks.
Safe, as it detects the voltage without contact.
Power supply: 2 x 1.5V AAA
Size: 148×17×26mm.
Weight: Approx. 23g (without batteries)
CAT. II 1000V according to EN61010
3. BATTERY INSTALLATION
1.Open the battery cover (end cap) by gently pulling up/down on the coupler
using a small screwdriver.
2.Insert two AAA batteries (observe polarity).
3.Replace the battery cover.
NOTE: If the meter does not work properly, check the battery to make sure it is in
good condition and inserted correctly.
To avoid receiving an electric shock, do not use the meter until the battery
cover has been put back in place and securely fastened.
The measurement should only be carried out if the cap has been attached to
the tip of the probe.
4. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Risk of electrocution. High voltage circuits, both AC and DC, are
very dangerous and must be measured very carefully.

5. AC VOLTAGE DETECTION
Risk of electrocution. Before using the device to check the voltage of a current
output, the Voltage Detector must always be tested on a known conductive
circuit to verify that the Voltage Detector is working properly.
Risk of electrocution. Hands and fingers should be kept at the base of the
probe, away from the tip of the probe.
To check the AC electrical voltage of a current output:
1. Connect the probe tip to a cable that is plugged into the output or insert it
into the plug itself.
2. If there is AC voltage, the detector light will flash and give an audible
warning.
