The OzzyMat must be changed at least every 30 days or the Ozzy microbes will lose their effectiveness!
OZZYMAT - FL4
The OzzyMat traps sludge and dirt
as small as 50 microns. It works
effectively even when it appears
dirty. At some point, however, it will
become saturated and unable to
pass fluid freely and must be
changed. The SmartWasher has
bypass openings located under the false bottom of the sink to
accommodate overflow when the OzzyMat is clogged.
MAINTENANCE ON THE OzzyMat
(Performed every 7 - 10 days)
1. Make sure pump is not operating and fluid is not flowing
through the brush or faucet.
2. Carefully lift the false bottom of the sink and lean to one
side.
3. Remove one of the peelable layers of the OzzyMat, wring
into sink and dispose of according to local regulations.
4. Return the false bottom to its proper position.

REPLACING THE OzzyMat
(Must be done every 4 weeks)
1. Make sure the pump is
not running.
2. Lift out the false bottom
of the sink and lean to
one side.
3. Remove the used OzzyMat.
4. Remove a new OzzyMat from its poly bag, unfold it and lay
it on top of the support grid with the white side up.
5. Wring excess fluid on to new OzzyMat. It is important to
WRING used OZZYMAT prior to disposal.
6. Place used OzzyMat into the poly bag that the new mat
came in.
7. Place the false bottom back in sink.
8. Dispose of the used OzzyMat in accordance with your local
regulations.
CHECK LOCAL REGULATIONS
You may be able to dispose of your used OzzyMat as solid
waste or with your other absorbent mats.
