used only for the purpose it was explicitly
designed for. The rating plate is located on
the left side, behind the electrical board.
5. SETTING UP THE APPLIANCE
5.1. POSITIONING REQUIREMENTS
These ironers need no particular positioning
requirement but a flat floor. Being front-
service type, they may even be placed against
a wall, provided that a 15 cm space is left in
between.
Level the appliance by its adjustable feet
using a level tool. Check that the weight is
uniformly distributed on the feet and that the
machine does not rock. Repeat levelling
after displacing the appliance.
5.2. SPACE REQUIRED FOR
INSTALLATION, USE AND
MAINTENANCE
The machine must be allowed the minimum
space shown in figure 2 (page 37) and a
minimum 15 cm distance from any walls.

The appliance must be installed by qualified
personnel, following the manufacturer's
instructions and in compliance with the local
standards for electric systems in force in the
relevant country. The manufacturer disclaims
any responsibility for harm to persons,
animals or property arising from wrong
installation.
Check that power supply voltage corresponds
to the values appearing on the rating plate of
the ironer. Voltage variations must not exceed
±10% of the rated value.

6.2. COMPLETE RANGE OF

This roller ironer has been designed to iron,
wool, cotton, linen, silk and different types
of synthetic fabrics. Set the appropriate
operating temperature using the SET button
(pos. 3 of fig. 3, page 38) and according to
the instructions provided in this booklet.
6.3. INFORMATION ON THE
ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
The electrical system contained in the
appliance is composed of safety and control
devices that are mounted onto an appropriate
plate, on the left side of the ironer (seen from
the rear). Diagrams and part lists may be
found further on in this booklet.

7. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND
ORDINARY MAINTENANCE
7.1. OPERATION (see fig. 3, page 38)
From the moment the machine is connected
with the electrical mains and is supplied
power, the STOP-button yellow light is on
(switch-off push button "O", position 2 of
figure 3). This means that the electrical and
electronic parts of the machine are energised.
Switch the appliance on by pushing the
START button "I" position 1 of figure 3).
The green warning light will go on to indicate
that the machine is on.
Select ironing temperature using the SET
button (position 3 of figure 3).
When the selected temperature has been
reached, lower the basin using the pedal.
WARNING:
The roller DOES NOT revolve when the
basin is up at rest. It revolves only with the
basin down. It is advisable to keep the basin
up while warming up.
IMPORTANT: Do not leave the hot basin
down against the roller when the machine
is not being used, as this would cause the
padding to wear out untimely.

DETAILS
Work temperature can be selected among
the three available settings (100°C, 150°C
and 180°C) only when the machine is on.
When the machine is switched on no selection
is active, which means that the heat will stay
off until a temperature is selected using the
SET button (position 3 of figure 3).
