Magnification
Select
the
desired
adjusting the zoom knob. Change the
eyepieces and/or add an appropriate
magnifying objective lens if necessary.

Total magnification used can be calculated
as:
Eyepiece magnification x Zoom
magnification x Objective lens
magnification.
7.
Contrast disc
You can use the black/white disc in order
to enhance the contrast of the image when
using the incident illumination. (Fig.10).
If you want to look at bright opaque
objects, place the disc with the black side
up. (Fig.11)
8.
Working distance
Normal working distance for the standard
configuration is 80 mm (LAB-10) and
85mm (LAB-20 & LAB-30). (Fig.12)
9.
Video capturing
Two kinds of observation heads, binocular
or trinocular, are available for the LAB
series. They can all be connected to
cameras via an adaptor.
