To operate the WIRELESS speed controller 3 x AA (R6) batteries
are required (not included in delivery). A reduced range between the
speed controller and the receiver/tower and a minor driving perform-
ance of the vehicles are an indication of a battery power drop. In this
case the batteries need to be exchanged at the bottom of the speed
controllers (fi g. ) as illustrated (fi g. ).

Using new batteries/rechargeable batteries a permanent playing
time of approx. 48 hours or a standby time of approx. 200 hours
can be assumed.
ATTENTION:
Operation with rechargeable batteries is not possible.

Switch on speed controller while pressing lane-change-button on
speed controller´s bottom (fi g. 1 + 2 ). LED lights permanently
(fi g. ). Release lane-change-button and push accordingly (e.g.

push 2x = speed controller 2)(fi g. ). Confi rm programming by

pressing speed controller´s tappet (fi g. ). Successful program-

ming will be indicated by LED fl ashing according to the encoding
(fi g. 3 ).
Troubleshooting and
technical specification
Trouble shooting:
• Please take into account that exposing the Carrera WIRELESS
System for Carrera DIGITAL 124/132 to direct or strong extraneous
light (sunlight, halogen lamps, neon lamps and big fl at screens) may
result in malfunctions.
• Double encoding of the speed controllers will be indicated by the
LED fl ashing quickly.
• Should operation be impossible despite the speed controllers and
Black Box having being switched on, please check the connection
between Receiver/Tower and Black Box.
• In case the receiving radius decreases or the cars´ driving charac-
teristics deteriorate please check the batteries.
Current source:
6 x 1.5 V Mignon batteries (AA/R6).
Batteries are not included in delivery.
