For Model 241 only -
Periodically, or as experience indicates, remove the Oil Chamber Plug and fill the oil chamber
with the recommended oil.
Placing the Tool in Service
Clean the coating of rust-resisting oil from the exterior of the tool.
Pour about 3 cc of a clean, suitable, cleaning solution into the air inlet. Attach the air hose and
run the tool for about 15 seconds. Remove the air hose and pour about 9 cc of the Ingersoll
Rand No. 10 Oil into the air inlet.
Immediately operate the tool for about 30 seconds to allow the oil to lubricate the parts.
Parts and Maintenance
When the life of the tool has expired, it is recommended that the tool be disassembled, de-
greased and parts be separated by material so that they can be recycled.
