INTENDED USE: For the collection and disposal of liquid infectious waste.

DIREcTIoNS FoR USE

Note: If more than one canister/liner is needed, a manifold must be used.
Use either manifold number 538210, two-liner stopcock manifold, or
538410, four-liner stopcock manifold.
1. Grasp and fully stretch out flexible liner.
2. Insert liner into reusable outer canister and press lid firmly around
entire perimeter to ensure proper seal.
3. Attach white vacuum hose to vacuum port. Attach tube from
vacuum source to port underneath bracket.
4. Connect patient tube to patient port and tandem tube to tandem
port if being used. Cap any unused ports. Turn on vacuum.
Liner should now be inflated and ready to use.
5. At the end of the procedure, and before disconnecting vacuum,
remove tubing and cap all ports tightly.
6. Grasp the handle to remove the liner from the outer canister and
dispose of according to hospital policy. Clean and disinfect reusable
outer canister after use.
Note: When using a tandem setup, dispose of all used and unused
canisters after the procedure.

• Liner is single use only. outer canister is reusable.
• Always use matching color liner and outer canister.

• Liner contents are considered potentially hazardous, use appropriate PPE and handle accordingly.
• Do not apply continuous vacuum longer than 24 hours.
• Do not exceed vacuum level of 25" (640mm) Hg.
Check expiration date on top of liner lid for use-by date.
• Store in dark place. Long term exposure to light may compromise product performance and

result in breakage during use.
• Clean outer canister with 10% bleach or 10% alcohol solution after each use. Do not use acetone-based
cleaners.
• Not intended as a measuring device, only for general reference, not specific measurement.
Loss of Vacuum: Check that vacuum is on, canister is properly sealed and that all connections are tight and tubing
is not kinked. If loss continues, replace liner.
