READ THIS FIRST:
Read and follow all instructions carefully
before beginning installation.
NOTE: Does not fit F-150 Heritage (Old Body
Style).
TOOLS NEEDED:
13mm Socket & Ratchet or 13mm Wrench

1. Locate the vehicle's Passenger
Compartment Fuse Panel located in
vehicle cab on the passenger's side,
behind the kick panel.
2. Open the cover to access the relays
and fuses.
3. Consulting your owner's manual, locate the
Trailer Tow Battery Charge Relay location
and insert the relay (provided).
4. Close the Passenger Compartment Fuse
Panel cover and replace kick panel.

5. Lower spare tire to gain access to
vehicle wiring. See vehicle owner's manual
for help.
6. Locate the vehicle's wiring harness plugs
located in the rear, underneath the vehicle,
inside the driver's side frame rail.
7. Carefully separate the vehicle's plugs.
The plugs should match the Trailer Tow
Harness ends. Install the Trailer Tow
Harness between the mating plugs.
8. Locate existing ground stud, inside the
driver's side frame rail near the back
bumper, and remove. Ground the Trailer
Tow Harness by attaching the ring terminal
on the white wire to the existing ground
stud. Reattach ground stud.

9. Plug the 7-way socket (provided) into the
Trailer Tow Harness.

WARNING Test the installation with a
test light or trailer. All connections must
be complete for the Trailer Tow Harness
to function properly.
10. Secure all loose wires and mount the
Trailer Tow Harness in an accessible
location with a bracket or electrical box
(not included). Return spare tire to
mounted position.
NOTE: The existing 4-flat harness on the
vehicle will still be functional.
CAUTION Do not exceed manufactur-
er's fuse rating. See owner's manual.

1. Repérer le panneau de fusibles dans
l'habitacle du véhicule du côté passager,
derrière le panneau de seuil de porte.
2. Ouvrir le couvercle pour accéder aux
relais et aux fusibles.
