For example: If you need 30 seconds to cover 50 m / 164 ft, your average
approximately walking speed is 6 km/h or 3.7 mph.
If you are walking/hiking in a group, the calculation should always be based on
the slowest walking person.

Setting the 2nd time zone-24-hour time display
(in stead of a.m./p.m. time display):
Pull out the crown (C) one stop to position1.
Rotate the crown counter-clockwise until the Indicator (i) shows the desired
time in the 2nd time zone on the 24 hour scale on the outer bezel.
Push in the crown (C) to its normal position.
NOTE:
The GMT hand displays the second time zone in the 24 hour scale (military time) e.g. At 2:00 am the GMT
hand points to 2 and at 2:00 pm it points to 14 on the outer bezel.
