5- Calibration process
The detector can be calibrated. To calibrate it, follow these steps.
•
Remove the plastic dome and leave the sensor visible.
•
Place the detector in the calibration terminal, the DETECTOR
•
LED will light up continuously. It this moment, the CALIBRATION LED will start to
blink slowly.
•
After 4 minutes, the CALIBRATION LED will start to blink quickly. Now inject the
carbon monoxide calibrated to 50 ppm with the mask supplied with the calibration
terminal.
•
After injecting the calibrated CO, wait 5 minutes until the CO has been distributed
uniformly by the mask. After these 5 minutes, press the CALIBRATION key, to start
the calibration process. The LED will go off during the calibration process.
»A continuous whistle will sound.
»The Calibration and OK LEDs will light up continuously.
•
If the OK LED does not light up, this means that the calibration has not yet been
completed correctly and you must repeat the whole process.
