Performance
The 701-50/60 pendant transmitter is designed to operate over short distances, the actual
range depends on the receiver aerial and the nature of the receiving path. As a reference,
the 701-50 pendant transmitter /7500r receiver gives a range in excess of 300 metres over
flat, open ground: the following multipliers should assist range estimates.

The 701-60 has a reduced, flat, open-ground range of 150 metres.

Battery Life

The 701-50/60 transmitters are powered by lithium-manganese-dioxide batteries, which
are designed to give at least 20,000 operating cycles, or 3 years life if used twice per day.
The battery is permanently soldered to the transmitter and is not designed to be changed
by the user. If the battery needs changing, return the whole unit, including the case, to your
distributor or direct to Cooper Security Ltd Service Department.
