Once the hose is inserted and connected to the connection point, keep the
selector valve in the FILTER position, except during direct pump cleaning.
The pool cleaner and bottom valves should be open. Start the motor.
Observe the pressure gauge reading (e.g. .07), then slowly close the
bottom valve whilst maintaining that reading. As soon as you see the
pressure gauge reading begin to drop, stop closing the bottom valve and
maintain the position. To ensure a better understanding, we recommend
carrying out this task whilst reading these instructions. Use the pole to
move the suction head slowly so as to avoid disturbing any dirt or debris
on the bottom of the pool.
For very dirty pool floors or after adding flocculant, move the selector valve
to the DRAIN position to prevent the dirt from reaching the filter. In this way,
the dirt sucked up by the pool cleaner will be sent directly to the drain
without passing through the filter.

9. OPENING THE PRE-FILTER

To remove the pump's pre-filter basket, place the selector valve in the
CLOSED position and close all of collector's other valves.
Release the pre-filter cover, remove the basket and clean it under running
water. Avoid impacts to prevent damage.
Ensure the correct position of the basket and gently replace. If it is in the
correct position it will enter without the need for force. Carefully replace the
cover's gasket and grease it with Vaseline or another type of grease.

10. EMPTYING THE POOL

To empty the pool you will need to connect the main drain pipe to the
general drain by means of the shut-off valve. If necessary, the filter unit's
pump should be used to pump the water from the pool to the necessary
gravity drainage level. To do so, place the selector valve in the DRAIN
position.
After selecting the correct position, open the bottom valve, close all others
and start the motor.
